ccording to historians, the street that we now know as The Queensway started out as a dirt trail way back in 1806, and then later was upgraded to a gravel road in 1836. Times have certainly changed! Now The Queensway is a major destination for shopping, attracting residents from across the west-side of Toronto, Etobicoke, and Mississauga. Many major retail brands call this stretch of road home, including Costco and Sobeys. At the same time The Queensway retains character with long-running family establishments such as Tom's Dairy Freeze, a family favourite since 1969, serving up some of Toronto's finest soft serve ice cream. These are among the neighbourhood elements that position 1040 The Queensway as a favorable investment opportunity. The plethora of local amenities plus ease of transportation into the downtown core or out to Pearson Airport, make this a super accessible and rentable condominium.
Simply purchase this suite, and then don't think about it again for 2 years while you collect monthly rent cheques. Read on to learn more about this condo and neighbourhood. Not intended to solicit anyone under agency agreement

Shoppers Paradise
ONE OF TORONTO'S PREMIERE SHOPPING DESTINATIONS! An anchor point to the great shopping found along the Queensway is the spacious Sherway Gardens Mall in Etobicoke, located at The West Mall and The Queensway.
Restaurants for all reasons
Open since 1971, this mall has expanded every decade to include well over 1 million square feet of retail, with a recent slant to more luxury brand and fashion-conscious items. The mall somehow seems smaller than it is, with low hanging ceilings and a figure-8 layout. Sherway Gardens also features a seasonal farmer's market on Fridays from 8am-2pm featuring farm-fresh eggs, baked goods and organic fruits and vegetables. There are well over 200 stores, including the recent additions of Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. The food court has also seen a dramatic overhaul, and great restaurants have been added, including The Keg So it's no surprise that many consider Sherway Mall to be one of Toronto's premiere shopping destinations.

A
prairie boy from Saskatchewan who moved to Toronto 22 years ago, Jim's family instilled in him the pioneer work ethic. "Start the day early, work hard, a handshake
means something - if you live like this, you will enjoy an abundant harvest."
At age 17 Jim started his first company, selling it successfully 7 years later at age 24. Then Jim totally switched directions, joining a small Quebec based start-up. After a few years of dedicated effort, Jim helped that company to drive dramatic sales growth across Canada, which led to his appointment overseeing sales growth in the USA and internationally. He credits those years with teaching him the art of negotiation. Jim uses these skills everyday to help his clients.
In the early 2000's Jim decided to enhance his marketing skills and enrolled in a Marketing Management course at Ryerson University. The marketing expertise he gained is one key factor explaining why his clients homes tend to sell for more money, in a shorter period of time, with the most favourable terms. Jim is a Realtor you can trust, he has the skills you need, and the experience you want. His professional guidance will ensure that you make the best decisions whether you are buying or selling real estate in Toronto. To book a selling or buying consultation email jim@jimemilson.com
