2025 CSA

What is a CSA?

Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a socio-economic model of agriculture and food distribution. Members of a community pledge their support to a farm so that the farmland holds an intrinsic value to both the growers and its community supporters. This concept helps to provide a direct market for growers while allowing consumers to get fresh, local products on a consistent basis. The winter payment helps the farmers cash flow, facilities better planning and locks in low prices for clean, healthy foods for you- a win/win for everyone.

The difference in the HomeGrown CSA is that you are getting the finest varieties from around the world instead of just run of the mill vegetables. With our Heirloom Tomatoes, French Melons and Culinary Salad Greens you will experience a treat each week from our bounty. Also, our portions are generous in comparison to other CSA programs and the carbon foot print is much smaller with our food hub here in Greenbrier County.

We are producing over 300 varieties of amazing heirloom vegetables, herbs and fruits on our farms within 75 miles of White Sulphur Springs. We have many greenhouses, high tunnels and fields to produce gorgeous produce year round. Our post-harvest handling, refrigeration and logistics are all geared to bring you the safest, freshest food possible.

We will have pickup on Friday afternoons from 3:00pm-5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-2:00pm at our store or have your bag delivered for $16 in Lewisburg, Caldwell and White Sulphur Springs zip codes. If you pick up during market, you can choose your produce instead of receiving pre bagged assortment. This will give you the opportunity to connect with many other foods and recipes.

Visiting HomeGrown makes it easy to participate in the local food movement, support local agriculture and enjoy the social benefits of attending the market. Deadline to Sign up for our CSA programs is January 22, 2025.
