PERFORMING ARTS AND LEARNING CENTRE D E S I G N C O N C E P T: REUNION
Concept of the design is to revive the culture of the indigenous people. I. MUTUAL BENEFICIAL - more interaction between the Indigenous people and the tourist can increase their socialize skill. - exchange of knowledge of the culture between the tourists and also the Indigenous people. II. Indigenous people - A place for the housewives to hang out and have something beneficial for them to do and learn. - A safe place for the children to play and to learn. - A place for them to held parties and also to gather.

AFTER SCHOOL - Children will play around in the area because the playground beside the Pusat Latihan is often closed and the facilities are not safe to play due to the rust.
Traditional Weaving
LIVING AS A COMMUNITY - Due to Urbanization, the Orang Asli no longer live together as a community, except for the ones who still lives in the forest. - They still like parties, performances from outsiders, movies and music that bring them back together as a community. - Traditional Dance - Sewang which is used for ritual performances, now has become only a demo for the tourist.
Manuel Herz Architects of Basel have designed this Centre for the Jewish Community in Mainz, Germany covered in glazed, green ceramic tiles. The shape of the building is abstractly based on the Hebrew word for blessing and is curved around a public courtyard. The centre houses a synagogue, office spaces, school rooms a multipurpose space.
