1. History of Flannel Fabric

Early in the eighteenth century, flannel fabric made its appearance in Wales. It is a very soft dress fabric. At the time, many British nobles preferred making warm clothing for the winter with flannel fabric. Since it is covered with very fine and small fluff, it looks simple and stylish. The flat, soft and smooth texture gets flannel fabric worldwide attention. Flannel fabric originated in Welsh, mostly was thin woolen fabric in plain or twill weave. It was mainly used in Spring and Autumn clothing for men and women. As early as the 1920s to 1930s, flannel fabric products became popular in China, among them the most famous flannel fabric manufacturers and factory is in England and Japan.
