This update is for you who, we have found, really care for us. Some of you we may have met once, others, we have known our entire lifetime. We understand that we could just as easily use facebook, twitter, or email to write you individually. However, we want to offer a more personal touch in updating you about how our lives together, by the will of God, are progressing.

February was filled with great occurrences. Amanda turned 24, (you should ask her about her birthday gift :), Our lifegroup more intimate with a guys and girls night, we saw our baby for the first time, and I finished my second month of my new job. One thing that was not so great about february was finding out more about our missionary friend down in Haiti. You can find his full story online now on fox, as well as other internet news sites. Our friend was placed in prison for unjust reasons. The government is very corrupt and hard to deal with and has kept him there for many

months now. His wife is due with their baby and he is still stuck in prison. I have been trying to do all I can with the limited amount of influence I have to help him out. I have spread the word, but facebook can only do so much. His name is Danny Pye. He has been running an orphanage in Haiti for a while now. He is a good guy, and does not deserve any of this. I beg of you. If you have any media connections, any political connections, and influential connections, please try and help Danny out.
Our concern and focus this past month of february has been on him and his family. His orphanage holds around 22 kids. Like I said, if you want to know more, look it up. We can’t know about things like this and just let them happen. Sure we can’t always save the world, but sometimes we can save people, and even change the world. May you read this and feel inspiration to learn more about the situation, and be moved to figure out what you could do to save this man, his family, his cause.
