Introduction Jisc Regional Support Centres work with more than 2,000 UK learning providers helping them to improve performance and efficiency through the use of technology. Â The Jisc Regional Support Centre for Yorkshire & Humber is publicly funded to stimulate and support innovation in the post-16 learning sector throughout the Yorkshire & Humber region. Having previously worked to ensure practitioners had the skillset to use technology in learning, it now works with principals, heads of service and other senior and middle managers to advise FE Colleges, HE Colleges, Specialist Colleges, Local Authority Adult Community Learning Providers and government funded Work Based Learning Providers to inform strategies, both corporate and pedagogical, around the subject of technology in learning.
We have run an annual conference each year since our inception in 2000. The conference brings together senior management and practitioners to disseminate best practice across the region as well as providing a collaborative networking event, stimulating ideas and focus for innovative education approaches in the region. The conferences, which are always popular, have followed progressive themes and models of delivery over the years, ensuring that they are always innovative and often cutting edge.

E-Learning Conference 2013 Innovate, Create, Inspire This year, our theme is about the innovative use of technology to change the way we teach and learn, leading to greater engagement of learners, enhanced achievement of learning outcomes and/or progression. We will host inspirational sessions on a variety of topics, presenting delegates with challenging and thoughtprovoking ideas and opinions for discussion and debate. Exhibitors with services and products that encourage the delivery of creative learning and teaching or enhance the smooth running of educational providers are encouraged to apply for exhibition space. The event will take place on Wednesday 12th June at The Rose Bowl, Leeds Metropolitan University, with the exhibition in the large reception area.
