THE ROCK Love God | Love Others | Make Disciples 3 Things to remember when you fear failure as a parent: (by: Leneita Fix)

2. I won’t do it all “right.”" I am going to mess up. It’s vital I learn to say I am sorry and admit when I am wrong. I simply can’t be perfect.

3. I need to keep letting my kids try & fail as well." They are going to make some choices I don’t love. Yet, while they are growing we can help them learn how to make those decisions. I think my disappointment can be laid down, when I let them learn. Bottom line, the most helpful thing I need to remember is to stop panicking. Parenting out of an anxious place is rarely helpful.
