3. How could you promote your business? How will you tell your potential clients you are available and ready for projects?

For your presentations on Friday April 25th, you should have a presentation that is considered and as ‘professionally ‘put together as possible.

Introduced. !

Introduced. Branded. ! !

Introduced. Branded. Considered. ! !

Introduced. Branded. Considered. As viable as possible in the time given. !

This is your opportunity to gather relevant information in a group situation, collaborating and presenting your ‘business.’ The research you do will inform your view on what a business can actually achieve. !

Your RESEARCH should be well underway now, and you will be apportioning tasks to each member of your ‘business’, setting deadlines and having meetings on a regular basis.

Talk

Regularly

You should now have a good amount of information based on all the previous presentations to look through and put in place in rough sections for later. !

PLAN your time! DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL LATER.

Has anyone asked for information from another ‘real’ business? !

If not, would it not be a good method of networking??

REMEMBER… !

‘SHY BAIRNS! GET NOWT!’

How do other studios communicate their ‘offers’?

Read what they say about themselves, check out the tone of voice. http://www.studiomikmik.co.uk/contact.htm ! http://www.studioone.co.uk/# ! http://www.studioenar.co.uk/studio/ ! http://www.qubik.com/studio.php

Don’t forget to blog (On your PPP Blog) all research on an ongoing basis so we can see your progress.

Your presentation should tell us: !

1. 2.

1.Who you are, Name and partners/directors. About you. 2. Where are you based 3. What kind of company/studio are you, partnership etc What is your area of trading (Your aims) 4. Who are your targeted clients 5. How do you price your projects 6. What are your terms and conditions 7. Future aims and ambitions 8. Summing up

Base this on your ‘business plan’ notes earlier in this presentation

Don’t forget to blog (On your PPP Blog) your final presentations. A copy on all individuals blog, together with‌

‌your own individual experience gained with this workshop and what you feel you may have gained from the exercise. Was it a worthwhile project?
