What important things will you need to consider and research? !
What you need to look at and make an initial decision on‌ How much do you charge?
! !
What and how you charge will take into consideration many things‌ !
1. What is your experience in the field of graphic design or with a specific type of project? 2 . What do you feel the final project will be worth? 3. What are the exact project specifications the particular client has provided? 4. What is the estimated amount of time such a project will take for completion? 5. What are the methods to be used to execute the project? 6. What do you need to charge to cover your overhead cost and expenses on such a job? 7. How badly do you want the project? 8. What prices will the local geographic market will bear? 9. What are competitive rates in your local area for similar work? 10. How much is the client is willing to pay? (It doesn’t hurt to ask if they have a budget) 11. What are you providing the client in the way of rights to use the design for future purposes? 12. Is the client a for-profit or nonprofit entity, and do you price such work differently? !

These areas will need to be researched. As there are a number of you in each ‘business’, you will need to apportion tasks to gather all information that will eventually formulate your presentations on Friday 25th of April. !
Document all your research individually on your PPP blog. !
!
Time is short. !
You have 56 days to your presentations. That is 1,344 hours. That is 80,640 minutes. !
(That includes weekends, and based on a day being 24 hours in total) you don’t really want to let things slide, your presentation should cover all things you need to put in place to press the start button on a ‘business’ !
Talk
Regularly
! !
When researching areas, you will get conflicting information, so try to decide what you find is the ‘basics’ that you will need to address in setting up your business. !
! !
Be aware: You WILL need to get together on a regular basis, so make sure ALL members of your ‘business’ pull their weight. !
If they don’t. ‘Blog it” AND/OR If necessary ‘fire’ them! !
You’re Fired!
!
IF YOU ARE FIRED, YOU WILL HAVE TO GO IT ALONE! !
You will have to research the Freelance/sole trader route, and as a sole trader, you will have to research alone and present all of the findings on your own. !
The reason I am asking for multiple members is only to make it easier on YOU. So engage and enjoy.
!

Get a plan together of what you will need to communicate to inform the people you will be presenting to. Information that is clear and considered that will present your ‘business’ in a concise, interesting and completely rounded style. Remember your tone of voice. !
You can do it…I know you can!
