Brett Elofson, JLL’s Office Leasing Group’s National Practice Lead and a Executive Vice President, has a recognized track record of success which is based on his extensive market knowledge, commitment to his clients, passion, and integrity. Brett has a proven ability to build and maintain long-standing client relationships built on quality service, collaboration, and trust. He prides himself on having a strong reputation and consistency to reach mutually satisfactory agreements. The last 16 years of Brett’s career have been spent connecting world leading businesses with office leasing support and strategic sales services. In his experience working with leading Canadian commercial real estate companies and landlords, Brett is continuously recognized as one of the largest national producers. Brett takes great pride in being an innovative leader and mentor with a passion for developing team members into top producing professionals.

Experience

In 2004, Brett was a recipient of the National Award, Rookie of the Year. In 2006, he was chosen to become Partner in a national brokerage firm making him the youngest Partner and the fastest broker in the history of the firm to move from Associate to Partner status. In 2016, he became the Practice Lead for the Greater Toronto Area’s office leasing group. In 2019, he was promoted to National Managing Director of office leasing.

In 2013, Michael was chosen by NAIOP as one of only six real estate professionals in North America to receive its coveted Developing Leaders Award, which is given to up-and-coming professionals (under 35) who show great promise as future industry leaders. He was the only Canadian and only broker to receive the award. In addition, Michael’s team has been nominated for NAIOP REX Awards 7 times, winning 4. Matthew Kornmuller Vice President Current Responsibilities

Matt Kornmuller is a Vice President with JLL focused on Office Leasing Services across the Greater Toronto market. Matthew’s strengths include advanced market knowledge, financial analysis and effective negotiation skills. By leveraging both his skills and experience, Matthew provides clients with creative and intelligent solutions to their real estate needs. Matthew was the recipient of the NAIOP Office Lease Transaction of the Year at the 2016 REX Awards. This award honoured the most creativity, innovated, and results driven transaction in the Greater Toronto area. Matthew is also recognized as one of the growing leaders in the real estate community, and was a 2015 finalist for SIOR’s Young Broker of the Year Award. This award is selected by peers to acknowledge a broker who has made significant contribution to the real estate community and completed notable transactions.

Michael Seetner Associate Vice President CFA Charterholder Current Responsibilities

Michael Seetner is an Associate Vice President in the Toronto office of Jones Lang LaSalle Canada. He specializes in bringing technology to the brokerage process to evaluate the overarching impact of real estate on both employees and corporate profitability. His team accomplishes this by focusing on space efficiency, workplace strategy and creating a positive human capital impact. Michael takes an analytical approach to negotiate business terms with landlords and maximize client leverage to obtain favourable results. He brings a finance background to the role which allows Michael to run complex leasing scenarios for tenants using relocation, consolidation, sublease and termination financial models.
