ISOMETRIC SEOUL Pattern Design Seoul: the capital and the largest metropolis of South Korea, the 4th most economically powerful city in the world, and my hometown. I illustrated this city in a minimal and isometic form.

Country & City Postcards Postcard Design Why do we use postcards? Why not just letter-size papers that you can put more information on? Postcards have many uses. We use them not only to write to our beloved ones, but also to show people a distant place where the receiver might want to go. For this project, I designed a series of postcards that express each country’s cultural, ethnic and social aspects.

Typo Poster Poster Design The type we see today is merely a letter on a page or on a screen. However, every type is designed to convey the message in its arbitrary shape. This Typo Poster started as a part of attempts to show the hidden graphic capability in type beyond its arbitrariness. This project converts digital typeface into analogue world through the use of materials from everyday life. I chose the word ‘bitter’ and made it with molten sugar so that the meaning of the word contradicts to the material used.

Khalia Packaging Design Khalia is a virtual egg brand I created for the Typography 2 project. I designed the package and its outlooks—such as logo and type setting in two languages: Arabic and English.

POSTER, AS A MALLEABLE OBJECT Poster Design Usually, posters we design are flat, two-dimensional objects. But, what if they can be folded in unique ways and show different messages as you fold? Using neuroscientific concept [brain and memory], I made a poster that expresses different messages within each folding method.
TRADEMATE Â App Design This is an app concept to encourage people to trade used stuffs rather than throwing away. Using orange as the main color, I designed simple and minimal interfaces.

De Facto Game Game Concept Design De Facto Game is a game designed to encourage citizens’ active political participation in order to maintain a healty democratic society. Find the person with de facto power: the key figure of political corruption.
