Human hearth model for training cardiac-surgery skills for a simulation-based program
The model imitates an adult beating human heart while seamlessly integrates the electronic components and other elements used during surgical procedures, thus, allowing to enhance the perception of an operation room With this prototype was possible to sense and record the manipulation of the organ when performing distal and proximal coronary artery anastomosis

Medical device that integrates electrotherapy and thermotherapy for muscular rehabilitation This project was focused on integrating two muscular rehabilitation techniques widely used and aimed to solve some problems discovered after a series of visits made to different physiotherapy facilities. Issues that ranged from a risk for the patient due to heat overexposure to accelerated deterioration of specialized furniture. The device is used through a handset which gives constant feedback while the electrotherapy (via carbon electrodes) and thermotherapy (via flexible heating packs) elements are being used.

DESKTOP 3D printer CONCEPT based on the SLA technology The concept emerges from the challenge of analysing key aspects from a desktop 3D printer that uses photosensitive resin material cured by a direct light from a projector (Digital Light Processing), by understanding a new market niche and the opportunity open source projects arises. Ember Reloaded proposed an integral solution where the user can execute both the main 3D printing process and other post-processing tasks.

Folding table inspired by tiny houses and furniture with multiple purposes
This piece of furniture made of cedar wood aims to give architects, artists or designers a piece of furniture that serves as a decorative or a functional object. It also allows to optimize the space, once unfolded it turns into a table and reveals a shelf with different compartments. The picture on display can be easily changed thanks to a set of magnets hidden on the frame
