Insert a black and white version of your logo in the same spot it’s displayed on your letterhead.

Use your corporate font. Set up the date as a field so that it automatically updates each time you create a new memo. (In Word, go to Insert>Date and Time, select the style and check the box to “update automatically.) Set up the TO, FROM and SUBJECT lines so that a user can easily enter the information Add a footer to the document with the document title and the page number in the desired locations. Make sure you use the standard font but in a smaller size. Choose “save as” and select “document template” from the “file type” line in the dialog box. Remember where you saved it and simply open and save as a different document for use.
