A student group relased the game How Fish is Made that was picked up by game legend Hideo Kojima and became viral hit with over 85,000 downloads on Steam.
Following the success of How Fish is Made, the student group have released a subsequent game called Khatyrka and are now launching their own company.

Starbreeze is a top player within the Swedish gaming industry as an independent developer and publisher that revolutionized Games as a Service. We have a close cooperation with Futuregames and takes on a few of their students as interns every LIA period.
The quality of Futuregames different Gamedev programs has prepared and trained the students to a level where it allows us as a studio to let the interns kickstart their carrers by putting their skills directly to work whilst keep learning from the best in game development.
They get to build their portfolio with direct in game assets for smash hit IP’s such as PAYDAY, a multiplayer heist with the largest community on steam, (currently + 8 million and counting), meaning their work is seen in game by hundreds of thousands of people playing our games.

Futuregames is the Seventh Best Gamedev School in the world according to The Rookies (the only one The Rookies certified school in Scandinavia).
Futuregames is one of 2 schools in Sweden that are an Epic Academic Education Partner (since 2017)
Epic games has had a representative as a a member of our advisory board for the last 5 years we have recently changed from one Epic representative to another. The current board member is James Butcher.
We also have a close relationship with a number of people working at Epic who work as teachers at the school including the Epic Unreal Evangelist for the Nordics Ari Arnbjörnson.
