upon the completion of my first full semester of architecture school, understanding the fundamentals of design and hard work became an integral part of learning how to become a designer. crossing lines and extending boundaries beyond my comfort zones, i was able to actuate the creative process to a level that i was not aware existed. the following documentation of work provides a small, but noteworthy insight into the mind of a hopeful designer still only at the start line.

through a study of prototypical roof types and different angles, the project produced an understanding of how beach erosion and weather can affect a coastal structure.
