CONCEPT + TA Concept Bowl is a unique dining experience which crosses the boundaries between the realms of print and culinary excellence. I was set the challenge of branding a typographically themed restaurant and bowl is the brainchild of that. Diners will eat traditional british cuisine in the surroundings of a traditional british printing press. Everything is hand made on site here from the soup to the menu. All in a traditional victorian style with a modern lick of ink.
Target Audience ‘Steampunks’ City Business workers City dwellers Food enthusiasts
PRINT EPHEMERA Products Shown here are the basic printed emphemera found in the restaurant environment. It includes the menu design which would be screenprinted, folded and tied in a bundle like a traditional newspaper, A receipt which would also be letterpressed to give an embossed impression, and a business card which would be foiled to add impact. It takes influence from many crucial elements of victorian print and design combined with a distinctely modern edge.
