C O N C E P T A Biography of The Book The book has been around for thousands of years, as a method of storing information on a page. Times are changing with the E Book taking over, mainly due to the invention of cheap monitors to display information, most famously the Amazon Kindle.
I intend to chronologically look at the past history of the book, from it’s first existance up until now, highlighting the main advancements in the history of the book.
Conveying an Opinion I intend to produce both a Kindle version and a physical publication. The book version will hopefully persuade the user that books are becoming a lost art, that should be appreciated.
The use of imagery pushing off the edge of the page is meant to sigify badly aligned printing.
The publication will use lots of features that a Kindle cannot possess such as screenprinted fragrant ink, embossing, and half tone imagery. I also intend to use a variety of stock.
R E S E A R C H Interview with a Writer I emailed Steve Clark, a writer /proof reader and general book lover , in order to understand his relationship with a Kindle.

Processes & Reason Binding - I plan to use exterior and obvious binding, as binding is a process lost when using a Kindle. It is also something normally hidden, so often people Fragrant Screen Printing may not understand - I plan to add perfume how creative you into the ink, giving the can be with it. pages a smell. Steve told me he loves the smell of a new book, and Stock: Despite not this should emphasize being a process, it is still it. Screen printing also a consideration.
