Bubble-living One of swedens bigges conflict is the cultural segragation that exist in its urban structure. This fact has lead in the past to nomerous riots in the suburban areas such as Husby. There are three main souces to this problem: --- Demographics (age, size of households) --- Social class (socioeconomic composition)
Johannes Schneider Bubble Living: The social structure that generates from a group of people with similar socio-political-ecological interests. This fact of generation of different clearly separated gruops (phisicaly and phsicologicaly) creates a city with no common identity. Lack of jobs and education leads to conflicts between the different gruops, fighting for a better life and more integration in the global labour market.
--- Ethnic composition (cultural background)
The aim is to generate architecture that breacks the barriers that established over the years between the different gruops and to generate a healthy comunity for everyone. In this example we established an stacking principe wich conects families, single living people, business and economic activities.
---------------
The goal was to create an Architectual dicctionary with all the students of the class.

BUBBLE LIVING
P5-Johannes Schneider
As an initial idea we identify the different kind of people that live in a city, such as Stockholm, and we discover that often, theese persons have lots in comoun and could help each other, but dont establish any kind of relationships between them because of the of the lack of socual beheivour in the swedish culture.

Capsule hotels are the example of the space Separated organization defined for one person and how these are conected through a vertical element.
Just as on a regular dinning table, the shape of it influences in the beheivour of its users. By diriging all lines of view onto the center, we generate a clear comunication, without damaging the presonal space that each person needs to eat comfortly. The proposal is then, not to force them to share their private space but to share their semiprivate space, such as the dinning table or the living room, in order to get them used to establishing interpersonal relationship, educating them for future.
Re-organising their clasical way of living we obtain an forced sharing, obtaining uncomfortable situations, wich only leads to avoidance of thesse shared situatios.
Habitat 67 shows the way of staking and connecting individual familie houses, reaching a complex sistem with clear connections.

The same principe is aplied to the location and orientaton of the entrances of each module, creating a central space of comunication where people are not forced to establish social conections, but lose the fear of talking to other people.
