This book has for purpose to reflect my identity and the way I approach design and shape. It contains few essential and most interesting projects focussing on the form only.

Motivation

Abstraction, clarity and honesty are my values. I place myself as an observer of the reality, and my interest consists in the appropriation of the different phenomenons I gather. My work is the result of the translation of these observations into something clear and tangible that people can interact with. I have the will of being connected to our surrounding and finding ways to implement my design in the era we are living in now. To do so, I believe the materials and shapes I use, and the matters I focus on must be contemporary and relevant.
I personally believe in a need of reconnection with our primitive and basic needs. I want to reintroduce the past in our present to create a better future. I am especially aiming at a social awareness through the materialization of clear and simple concepts. Even though I have preferences in terms of mediums - noble materials and 3D language - I feel like I have no bundaries and all fields are open to my expression.
However, and this why I ask for joining your course, I feel like I need to focus on shape for a semester at least. I have abstract dreams of shapes merging and evolving, creating sound and vibrations. I need to explore this more deeply and be able to fully express myself through 3D, and in the meantime discover new materials such as bronze and ceramic

PL ASTICITY
PLASTICITY is the project I am the most enthusiastic about. It has been a challenge to combine my feelings for the form, the actual trends of design, and what people can understand. I consider that to many projects are irrelevant because of the abstractivity of the shapes used, and too many are uninteresting because their shapes are too industrial and create boredom.
The balance is difficult to find and it is why I tried to focus more on a unity between the four items than on a complete and maybe disconnected expression; or perfect and unattractive functionality. I found out that the minimalistic details can also be a whole new world of fo-

cus and passion, and the simplicity of a shape doesn’t mean an emptiness of feelings.
