This is an important video showing tremendous development of nuclear engineering research in Jordan. First there is the Jordan Research and Training Reactor, JRTR, located at Jordan University of Science & Technology, JUST. Then, Jordan is planning for commercial nuclear power in the coming decades. Click here to see the video of Jordan’s nuclear future. The JRTR reactor was designed and built by Korean companies: KAERI, Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, and Daewoo E & C. It is licensed by the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission. Jordan University of Science & Technology is providing excellent education in fields related to nuclear energy and production of radioisotopes for nuclear medicine and industry. They will provide staff to operate JRTR.
