INTRODUCTION

Totalitarianism is evil and takes on many forms. People who want freedom, prosperity and peace have to work to save the world from the doom of this evil.

Totalitarianism can be overt - Fascism, Communism, National Socialism, or brutal dictatorships. It can be covert - hiding in plain view: in governments, organizations, universities, corporations, and news media.

The website allaboutenergy.net is committed to a free, democratic modern world with plenty of reliable energy from fossil fuels and nuclear energy, to education about fossil fuels, nuclear energy, wind and solar power, to environmental problems and benefits.

This report identifies very bad energy and climate policies being made by leaders in the USA, the European Union, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and South Africa. It presents good analysis and solutions by 32 professionals and one high school student from around the world. These people range in age from teenager to in their nineties.

Fossil fuels and their by-products are the most important contributors to the wonderful new world of the last two hundred years. They are finite. How long they will be available depends on how we use them or waste them. Beyond fossil fuels, nuclear power is the only energy that can maintain a modern standard of living for generating electricity, space heating, process heat, and producing synthetic fuels.

Questionable Australian, European, and North American governments, non-profit organizations, universities, and corporations are determined to stop the use of fossil fuels and nuclear power. Why? To reduce population, impoverish and rule over the rest.

There are articles by 32 professionals and a student. Initial inspiration came from Michel Gay in France, Reinhard Storz in Germany and Kees le Pair in The Netherlands.

Here is a very important, in-depth presentation by three highly qualified experts that corroborates the linked articles in this report. June, 2023 Conference at Princeton University - Why Climate Change is NOT an Emergency. We will report on this later.

COP27 AGREEMENT IN 2022 TO CLOSE COAL MINES IN SOUTH AFRICA

(l to r) - John Kerry, USA, Rishi Sunak, UK, Emmanuel Macron, France, Ursula von der Leyen, European Union, Olaf Scholz, Germany, Cyril Ramaphosa, South Africa at COP27 in Egypt in 2022. This photo is after signing an agreement to shut down South African coal mines in exchange for loans to build wind farms. Who will benefit from this anti-fossil fuels alarmism and forced switch to weak, variable, unreliable, not always available wind and solar energy? How many will suffer?

The southern hemisphere is over 80% ocean. South Africa is more than 4,000 miles away from Australia, India and Latin America. Claims of CO2 “pollution” threat from South African coal mines is a disgrace. If China were forcing the closing of these coal mines, it would not be tolerated.

Left: A map of the Southern Hemisphere. The 2022 UN IPPC COP27 agreement between the USA, UK, EU, France, and Germany on one side and South Africa on the other to close coal mines in exchange for financial support for wind farms was not a deal to save the world from supposed man-made catastrophic global warming from use of coal in electric generating plants.

It was a sellout by the president of South Africa to enrich his associates by building useless wind farms.

African despots betrayed fellow Africans in the slave trade with North and South, America for centuries. Cyril Ramaphosa’s betrayal of South African miners at COP 27 is not new behavior of some African leaders.

One of the world’s oldest civilizations. Home to the Hindu and Buddhist religions. The world’s largest democracy. Competes with China for the world’s most populous country. Like China, Europe, and North America, it needs fossil fuels and their by-products to have a vibrant economy. India could use mostly nuclear energy for generating electricity, if they develop thorium technology. But like the rest of the world, they have focused on Light Water Reactors because they are more advanced in development and have industry support.

The Netherlands

The Netherlands is an amazing country with wonderful brave seafarers and successful business people. Tremendous engineering accomplishments reclaiming land from the sea and many other fields. Excellent universities. Wonderful artists and museums. Produces the freshest food for Europe. Operates the world’s biggest flower auction. Flowers are flown in from around the world in the early morning, bid on, and flown out to successful bidder destinations in the matter of a few hours. One of the best countries for bicycle vacations. Like other countries in Europe, Australia, Canada and the United States, it is under pressure from man-made global warming alarmists and anti-fossil fuel activists to abandon modern living standards. Farmers are in revolt against false claims against their “supposed” causing “not-happening,” “man-made,” “catastrophic” climate change.

A verdant country. It should be obvious to every New Zealander that this small country, surrounded for hundreds/thousands of miles by oceans can not possibly contribute in any measurable way to supposed catastrophic man-made global warming. Yet their leader insists that the carbon dioxide they produce from use of fossil fuels causes catastrophic global warming. Which leaders are worse for their people?: China, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, USA, Europe, the World Economic Forum, the United Nations IPCC and COP.

CONCLUSIONS

This report shows what kind of a world we can have:

a) Without fossil fuels and nuclear energy. This will cause a massive population dieback, much suffering, return of slavery for labor, ravage the environment and loss of wildlife habitat. No mining for, manufacturing, delivering or constructing wind turbines and solar panels. No mining for materials for hundreds of millions of automobiles, equipment for tens of millions of restaurants, trains, trucks, airplanes, medical equipment and medicines, mechanized agriculture, water treatment and wastewater plants, asphalt, concrete and steel for buildings and highways, elevators for skyscrapers. No Internet, iPhones, Google and Amazon. No internal combustion cars, no batteries for electric cars, no commercial and cruise ships. No golf clubs, golf courses, snowboards, skis and ski resorts. No electronic or glossy paper advertising and no 24 hour news service. No electronic weather service. No electronic political campaign and election coverage. No modern clothing. No electronic dating services.

b) With fossil fuels as long as they last and nuclear energy for thousands of years, we can have very good lives, protect the environment and preserve wildlife habitat. Synthetic liquid fuels will be manufactured with help of nuclear energy

Leaders in the United States and Europe demand that Africa, Europe, North and South America abandon fossil fuels. Why? China, India, Russia and other countries will keep using fossil fuels and advanced nuclear power. Why?

With appreciation of carbon dioxide, fossil fuels and advanced nuclear power, it should be possible to make good decisions, not panic, not fail.
