Eligibility criteria for first-time college students
JBU will consider your high school gpa and superscore for the act, sat and clt (should you submit them) to determine your eligibility for an academic scholarship. We will use the option that gives you the highest scholarship. If you are a National Merit Finalist or Semi-Finalist, you will receive the JBU National Merit Award ($17,000) unless you are selected to receive a Presidential Scholarship.
Scholarship Competition
If you are invited to and attend the Scholarship Competition, you will be considered for the Presidential ($30,000) or Chancellor’s Scholarship ($15,000). Invitations to compete are extended to students who meet the highest academic qualifications in the chart above. Students who otherwise demonstrate significant leadership ability may also be invited. Only seniors in high school applying for the fall semester will be considered for an invitation. If you are awarded either of these scholarships, it will replace any academic schlorship already awarded.
