Notes
THe department oF muSic & tHeatre of John Brown University is pleased to present the annual Christmas Candlelight Service for the Northwest Arkansas community. Expenses for this service are underwritten by John Brown University. Should you wish to help with the expenses for this year’s presentation, an offering will be taken during the service, or you may use the QR code in this program. Your donations are gratefully received!
The candle lighting at the conclusion of the program has become a traditional part of the Christmas Candlelight Service. We ask all lighted candles be held upright so wax will dry on the holder.
The worshipful music and the reverent atmosphere of the Candlelight Service lend themselves to quietness and awe. Should small children in the audience become restless, we respectfully entreat that they be taken out of the sanctuary.
To help maintain worship and reflection, we respectfully request that all electronic devices be silenced during the Candlelight Service. We also request that there be no flash during this time.
Special Thanks
• Bear Klenda, Peter Rexford, Darren Gould, and the AVL crew for running lights, sound and recording
• Hannah Patterson for event coordination
• Se-Ah Kim for graphic design
• Madeline Kendall & Se-Ah Kim for helping with many behind-the-scenes details
• JBU Honors students and other students for ushering
