I'VE CHANGED MY ADDRESS I’ve changed my address to Heaven I’ve crossed the Great Divide. I know there’s no sorrow or crying, Because I’ve reached the other side. I am so happy to be here, for the Lord Himself I see. I’ve changed my address to Heaven, I bid this world goodbye. I now live forever with Jesus in my new home in the sky. I have no burdens or heartaches And from tears I am now free. I’ve changed my address to Heaven, I’m safe forevermore. For the Lord built a mansion And my name is on the door. You can find us walking together, For where He is, I’ll always be. I’ve changed my address to Heaven, That’s the place you’ll find me.

Karyn

KARYN LOUISE KANE MALONE January 22, 1955 — December 29, 2018 To My Wife I still say I love you. But now there’s no reply. I always feel your presence As if you never left my side. I remember your comforting voice, Now there’s not a sound. Only echoes from the past Follow me around. You’re always by my side, But I can’t hold your hand. The reason why God took you, I find it hard to understand. Summer days seem much shorter Dark nights just linger on. Dreams turn into nightmares When the one you love has gone. But real love never fades, It still burns like the sun. Although you’re far away, Those memories go on and on. Your spirit will never die, It shines like the stars. I know you’re sleeping in heaven, But you’re living in my heart.

Love, Dobie

K

aryn Louise Kane Malone was born at Tripler Army Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii on January 22, 1955. As a military child, Karyn moved from Hawaii to Germany, then to Washington State before settling in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she attended Harrisburg High School. After various jobs in the retail business, Karyn found her niche and became successfully employed in the insurance field. She later moved to Houston, Texas, where she met the love of her life Dobie Malone. They were married in 1981 and to this union two sons, Dobie Jr. and Marcus, were born. Karyn was employed for over 22 years at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. During her tenure, Karyn played a key role in the decentralization of the Clinical Applications and Support Department and was awarded the Distinguished Mentor Award and named 2016 Clinical Applications and Support Employee of the Quarter. In her current role, Karyn led the Epic Hospital Billing Team and was greatly admired and respected by her peers and management as an expert. Karyn made an impact on many of her colleagues, who appreciated her professionalism, wealth of knowledge, and strong structural and organizational skills, as well as, her vibrant personality. Karyn has been a faithful member, along with her husband Dobie, of the New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she has worked with the Youth Department. In addition to working with the youth at New Mt. Carmel, Karyn served as a mother-figure/mentor over the years for several young men who were friends of her sons. With a natural nurturing spirit, she has always had a passionate love of family and friends. Her ancestral roots were important to her and she revisited her homeland of Hawaii often, eager to learn something new each trip, and to pass on her knowledge. Music and nature's beauty brought her joy. Above all this, Karyn was a Christian woman who loved our Lord and Savior, and lived her life accordingly. Karyn follows her father, Louis Samuel Kane, brother Carl Kane, nephew Richard Kane, brother−in−law Glenn Malone and stepson Timothy Farley in death. Celebrating and cherishing her Life and Legacy are her husband Dobie Malone Sr. of 38 years, 2 sons Dobie Jr. and Marcus and stepson Derrick Malone; her mother, Anna Jean (Magaro) Kane and 7 siblings: Louis Kane (Shirley), Michael Kane (Debbie), Richard Kane, Lisa Anastasi (Rodney), Jeffery Kane (Michelle), Anthony Kane (Becky), and Martin Kane. KARYN LOUISE KANE MALONE January 22, 1955 — December 29, 2018

To Mom, There are three things everyone knew about you. You were about your family, your God, and you did not play around. Your love, teachings, scorns, and praising help give me, us all, the instilled character and knowing that we can hold our head high from living life the right way. You had the uncanny ability to see through all of the nonsense quickly and cut directly to the problem. You were a problem-solver. You were so caring that you would give someone your last dollar; but smart enough to have some extra money tucked away for a rainy day. You’re gone and I wasn’t ready to give you up. But, I can hear you calling me Babyboy and telling me to stay strong for Dad, Marcus, Audri and myself. Thank you for all the life lessons you have given me. If I can be even a fraction of the light that you were in everyone’s life you touched, I know that I will have done something right. I love you Mom!

Mother

Nana,

Your love that knows no bounds. Could calm any storm in my life, like a lost soul who is found Your time on this earth was full of love and grace There is strength in knowing you’re in heaven’s embrace Though we were not ready to give you up We can hear you saying “Have faith in God and trust” Now that you’re watching from above everyday You can touch all our souls in different ways Until we see each other again I will always and forever love you Until the very end Love, Marcus

You had such a kind heart and always made sure we were doing okay. Anytime I needed advice you were the perfect person for the job. I will miss your words of encouragement, and most of all, I will miss you! Please be our Guardian Angel. Love Brandey

From Your Granddaughters

Nana, You were a remarkable woman who was filled with warmth, kindness, love and laughter. Our precious memories we shared will forever brighten my day. You will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Nana you have earned your wings. Take flight my precious Queen. Love you Tylisa

There are many memories I have with my Nana. Once, when I was in trouble, she would say my full name in her funny high-pitched voice, or when we would be getting ready for bed she would give me two chocolate dove candies. We should not be sad because Nana would not want us to be sad. Instead, we should recall all of the funny, happy memories she left us with. I Love you Nana, Audri

KARYN LOUISE KANE MALONE January 22, 1955 — December 29, 2018 Tribute to Our Sister−in−Love,

If Tears Could Build A Stairway

We never refer to Karyn as our sister−in−law. The first time Dobie introduced her to our family we gained another sister. We have shared some enjoyable family times together. You left us with many wonderful memories. We love you and you will always be in our hearts.

If tears could build a stairway and thoughts a memory lane we’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say good-bye you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. Our hearts still active in sadness and secret tears still flow what it meant to lose you no one can ever know. But now we know you want us to mourn for you no more to remember all the happy times life still has much in store. Since you’ll never be forgotten we pledge to you today a hallowed place within our hearts Is where you’ll always stay. God knows why, with chilling touch, death gathers those we love so much and what now seems so strange and dim will all be clear, when we meet Him. Your Siblings

From Your Malone Family

Auntie, We were all together at Thanksgiving not knowing it would be our last family gathering with you. We will miss our philosophical discussions about life and politics as well as your straight to the point style and diplomatic way of expressing your opinions that made us all laugh and engage in serious introspection. Although we are experiencing the emotional pain of losing you too soon, we will always remember your beautiful smile, and we are proud that the world was a better place because you cared and made a difference in so many lives. We love you always! From Your Malone Family Nieces and Nephews

Auntie, the day you left and gained your wings, our hearts broke in two. We wished you could have stayed here with us, but heaven needed you. You left us with memories and we love you dearly still, no matter how much time goes by, you know we always will. You were a very special person, with kindness in your heart, and the love we had together grows stronger now that we're apart. We know we cannot bring you back although we wish it every day, but a piece of us went with you, the day you went away. --Your Kane Family Nieces and Nephews
