Log on to the Masters of Photography at: http://www.masters-of-photography.com/ Choose a photographer from the list on the page. You may choose a photographer that you have heard of or just pick a name at random. Look though his or her photographs and answer the following questions about one of the photographs that you like or find interesting. Who is the photographer? What is the title of the Photograph? What year was it taken? In the space on the left do a thumbnail drawing of the image. Don’t worry too much about detail I am interested in seeing the basic composition. In the space on the right please give a careful description of the photo. Remember I can’t see the picture as I grade this critique, so your description should be clear and detailed. Use elements of art (Color, Value, Line, Texture, Shape, Form, & Space) and the principals of design (Balance, Emphasis, Pattern, Contrast/Variety, Rhythm, Unity & Movement) in your description. Do a simple drawing here
Write a detailed description here (words)

Why you think the photographer took this picture and why is this image famous enough to be published on this web site? You may want to think about the historical context of the image. Also it would be a good idea to look at some of the other images by the same photographer. Is there a style or theme running throughout their work?
What do you like about this photograph? Why did you pick this photograph to write about? Once again it would be good to use the language of art. Talk about mood, emotion, and technique.
