Sports are seemingly the lifeblood for Ohio Valley residents. You’ll be hard pressed to find a lit football stadium on fall Friday nights that isn’t jam-packed with fans, eager to cheer on their local high school football team. Those same fans are at it again Saturday, watching or traveling to tailgate at college football games. The Ohio State Buckeyes and West Virginia Mountaineers have loyal fan bases on both sides of the Ohio River. Then come Sunday, the battle between Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers fans is well-known far and wide. From youth sports up through the pros, Ohio Valley residents love their sports, both to play and watch.
