Burton Front Vented Discs
Retrofit Kit for Capri, Cortina & Escort Mk1/2
Now Burton has made it easier than ever to fit front vented discs to a Ford Capri, Cortina or M1/2 Escort. (The conversion will also fit the German Ford Taunus TC Mk 1, 2 & 3.)
The kit provides spacers to convert a standard M16 brake caliper to fit the wider OE Ford vented brake discs that were used on Capri 2.8i/Group 1 Escort RS models.
This Burton kit is a high quality, accurate copy of the original Ford parts and includes the correct longer pad retaining pins rather than cheaper split pins.
One kit will space two brake calipers.

Burton Type 9 Five Speed Gearbox with 2.98:1 Long 1st Gear
for Capri Mk3, Granada Mk2, Mk3 & Scorpio, Sierra, Transit Mk3 and as a 5 Speed Conversion for MG, Triumph and Kit Cars
Burton Power now offers a complete Type 9 five speed gearbox which has a GBT9200 long first gear conversion. The ratio of first gear has been lowered from a short 3.65:1 to a much more useable 2.98:1.
These gearboxes have been reconditioned, but to Ford’s exacting O.E. Standards. This includes a brand new mainshaft first gear and a layshaft cluster that has been modified and fitted with a new first gear. The remaining gears are as original.
The Type 9 gearbox (also referred to as a 'Type N' gearbox in some workshop manuals) was the original fitment on Ford Capri Mk3, Granada Mk2, Granada/Scorpio Mk3, Sierra 1.6 / 1.8 / 2.0 and Transit Mk3.In addition it can also be used on older Fords to convert them from four to five speed as well as other classic makes such as MG and Triumph and kit cars.

Some early Minis have ‘Hydrolastic’ or ‘wet’ suspensions. This means that they ride on four bags filled with pressurised fluid akin to antifreeze. As the systems age they are prone to lose pressure and so require pumping up. Nowadays your neighbourhood garage might no longer be equipped to do this! Thus, you, your mechanic, or your club may want to invest in this unique Hydrolastic Suspension Pump to keep the ‘wet’ cars on the road.
This Mini Spares pump will also pump up Metro hydrogas units as well as any car fitted with hydrolastic units.

With the ever increasing ethanol content in modern fuels, which causes higher engine bay temperatures, heat soak is becoming more of an issue, especially for down draft carburettors such as the Weber IDA and IDF.
Traditionally, the use of 5mm insulators has been enough to prevent significant heat transfer. However, in a number of installations this is no longer sufficient and so Webcon has now developed a range of 10mm insulators to suit these models of carburettor.

If you want the legendary power of Weber carburettors, but space restrictions make it difficult to get air filters that will fit. Webcon has the solution.
Webcon’s superb quality Max Flow Mesh Filters are designed to be totally oil free, yet offer a high level of filtration for worry free road and race use. The only maintenance required is periodic cleaning and fitting, which takes a matter of seconds.
Manufactured by Webcon in the UK, these mesh filters feature two layers of stainless steel mesh with a filter layer in between to ensure maximum protection for your engine. Incredibly in Webcon’s development testing, an almost insignificant 5bhp loss at WOT on a 250bhp 4 cylinder engine was recorded.
These are especially recommended for GT40 and Lotus 7 style applications where space is extremely limited. Great performance and great looks are guaranteed, they are easy to fit and very competitively priced.
