Our final year of school! After thirteen long years of schooling, we finally worked our way up the JPC rungs. Year 11 left us all hoping for a fresh start and a return to normality, for the first half of the year, we did!

We were able to enjoy our last Athletics and Swimming Carnivals and despite a few short lockdown hiccups along the way, we were finally able to enjoy the long anticipated Year 12 Retreat!

Retreat really set the tone for the rest of the year, and allowed us to develop and strengthen our friendships and priorities, which, little did we know, would become very important a few months down the track! After a blinder of a start, July hit and things started to get a little hairy. The mixture of an extended lockdown, rising cases and heaps of assessments placed a lot of pressure on all of us, but looking back now we can truly say that WE had it the hardest.

2021 produced a few … less trash songs to help us through. Shout out to Olivia Rodrigo for following us through every single radio station and TikTok for 3 months straight. 2021 was perhaps not the final year we wanted it to be, but one thing we can all be sure of is that we are some of the most resilient, caring and witty group of kids. Peace out 2021, we won’t miss you, but we’ll miss each other.
