Students can pursue a general MS in Biotechnology degree or focus on one of six concentrations. This curriculum prepares
students for participating in research, leading lab teams, making development and planning decisions, creating and applying research modalities to large projects and taking the reigns of management and marketing decisions. Students complete 10 courses for the general degree: four core and six elective courses (must include at least two science electives).
» Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or engineering
» 2 semesters of college chemistry (preferably with labs)
» GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
» 2 semesters of organic chemistry (preferably with labs)
» 2 semesters of biology
FLEXIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
Designed for working adults, the program offers courses conveniently online and onsite. Onsite courses are taught during the evenings or weekends at the Homewood Campus in Baltimore, MD, or the Montgomery County Campus in Rockville, MD.
