Dear «first», We know that college is an investment, and like any good investment, it should pay off. That’s why we’re so pleased to tell you that for 2019 JWU’s Career Outcomes Rate is 97.7%. Historically, the JWU rate is above the national average. What Is the Career Outcomes Rate? Career outcomes information is a nationally recognized way to calculate student success. The Career Outcomes Rate reflects the percentage of students who are either employed, continuing their education, enlisted in military service, or performing voluntary service within six months of graduation. Why Is JWU’s Career Outcomes Rate So High? Our education is career-focused and student-centered. We have programs that prepare you for the career you want. You’ll be able to take part in our award-winning internship program in which 2,654 JWU students interned in 2019 with more than 60 percent receiving a job offer at the completion of the internship. You’ll have access to thousands of jobs and internships through HireJWU, our online job search tool. Here you’ll have faculty who are passionate about what they do. They’re committed to working with you one-on-one to help you develop your skills and often help you make connections within your field.
