Community not just a noun, but a state of mind.
1. A diverse and inclusive group of people who believe in the power of education
2. A campus with no true borders, blending in perfect harmony with the surrounding city of Charlotte
3. Students, faculty and staff working together to learn, grow, create and make an impact on the world around them
4. A pillar of the Wildcat Way
Pride, Courage, Character and Community are the pillars of the Wildcat Way.

Queen
Charlotte (North Carolina)
Founded in 1768, Charlotte was named after England’s reigning queen — hence the “Queen City” nickname. But this city has also been ruling the Southeast for quite some time. Charlotte was one of the first to officially declare independence from Britain at the outset of the American Revolution, the first place where gold was discovered in the U.S., and a leading hub for a variety of in-demand industries throughout its history.
It has always been a trailblazing city ahead of the times, and that progressive energy is why it’s one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. People want to be here because they know there’s opportunity around every corner — come see for yourself.
“In Charlotte, we are at the epicenter of all the fun that is happening in and around the city.”
