what you need to do next to prep for your journey to JWU.
1. Check out jwuLink
On jwuLink, you can easily access your admissions portal, chat with peers in our accepted student group and complete admissions and financial aid to-do lists. Once you enroll at JWU, jwuLink will connect you to your Wildcat email account, New Student Orientation registration and so much more.
Hint: you can log in using the same credentials as your admissions portal.
2. Accept our offer
Log in to your admissions portal and complete the Offer of Admission Reply Form. There, you can accept or decline our offer, and there’s even space to indicate if you’re not sure.
3. Secure your spot in JWU’s incoming class
Once you’ve accepted our offer of admission, submit the $300 deposit to make it official.
4. Make sure your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is filed
We need this to make decisions about financial aid based on your needs! If you haven’t yet filed, go to fafsa.gov and create a FAFSA ID; make sure each parent or guardian creates one, too.
When you’re invited to list the colleges your information is shared with, use school code 003404 for Johnson & Wales University.
The sooner you complete your FAFSA, the sooner we can award financial aid! Plus, there’s a benefit to filing ASAP: if you complete your FAFSA by February 1, 2025, you’ll be eligible for a $1,000 FAFSA grant from JWU!
See how and search for scholarship and grant opportunities at jwu.edu/payingforcollege.
5. Connect with your financial planner.
As an admitted student, you have a dedicated financial planner to help navigate financial aid and paying for college. Find your financial planner at jwu.edu/financial-services-team.
6. Celebrate your acceptance! Register for Accepted Student Day
You and your family are invited to attend JWU’s Accepted Students Day! A formal invitation containing RSVP information will follow this spring.
Can’t make it to this event? Accepted students are welcome to tour our campus anytime! Go to jwu.edu/visit to see all upcoming visit opportunities.
(Or wherever you feel like putting these tattoos — we don’t judge.)
The Mythical Griffin
You’ll find this mythological creature on our university seal, and he even had a short stint as our mascot in the ’90s.
Wildcat Willie
Keep it classic with Wildcat Willie, our friendly mascot and the coolest cat we know.
Class of 2029
Hey, that’s you! Declare your love for your classmates and your future graduation year. Did we just become soulmates?
They may be temporary, but you’ll be a Wildcat forever.
