We wanted to honor the Class of 2020 in this edition, in the interest of bandwidth — and your eyesight — we broke the profiles up for the smartphone articles. These profiles are for those students whose last names begin with M through R:

Sarah Massey

Hometown: Princeton

School: Princeton High School

Sarah is a 2020 senior at Princeton High School. She is a member of the Beta Club and concert and marching band. After graduating, Sarah plans to focus on a career in nursing. Proverbs 16:3 says, “commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Erica Edwards

Lori Ann McClung

Hometown: Selma

School: North Johnston High School

Our 2020 graduate, Lori Ann, plans to attend JCC in the fall and enroll in mammography while continuing to work part-time as she did in high school. We are so proud of you and all your hard work. Continue to keep Christ first and he will direct you in all you will do in your future. It has been a very challenging year and we know this will only make you stronger for what the future holds for you. Daddy, Mama, Katie and Will love you and are so very proud of you, our beautiful daughter!

Seth McLeod

Hometown: Four Oaks

School: South Johnston High School

Seth is a member of the golf team and works at Reedy Creek Golf Course. He plans to attend JCC this fall. We are so proud of the respectful, hardworking young man Seth has become and we look forward to watching the wonderful things life has in store! — Robyn Wilson

Curtis Morris

Hometown: Selma

School: North Johnston High School

Curtis has been playing the trumpet since sixth grade. He loves being in the band. He was in winter guard, winter winds and marching band during his high school years. In his senior year, he was drum major for the marching band. Curtis plans on going to Johnston Community College for forensic science after graduation. Jacob Morris

Hometown: Selma

School: East Carolina University

Jacob is graduating from East Carolina University with his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering! — Christina Morris

Olivia Moss

Hometown: Angier

School: West Johnston High School

Olivia was a member of SADD, Key Club and Spirit Club at West Johnston. She was a varsity cheerleader, and a member of the first ever stunt team at West. Olivia is attending East Carolina University this fall, where she plans to major in nursing. She was looking forward to prom, earning her CNA, going on her senior trip and walking at graduation! She, along with all of her other classmates, are deeply saddened by the circumstances that have taken place, but are looking forward to the future.

Amelia Olsen

Hometown: Benson

School: Abeka Academy (home school)

Amelia is a high school senior with great ambitions for her future. She has been playing the guitar for almost nine years now and has enjoyed every minute of it. Amelia plans to attend Johnston Community College in the fall to pursue a career in medical sonography. She loves Jesus with all of her heart, and she would not be who she is today without Him. Amelia would like to thank her family for always being there for her when she needed them most. — Elaine Olsen

Owen Palmer

Hometown: Clayton

School: Clayton High School

Owen played varsity soccer while at Clayton High and made academic all conference. He will attend UNC Wilmington in the fall. We are so proud of you, Owen, and know you will do great things! The sky’s the limit!! — Melissa Palmer

Trey Penny

School: South Johnston High School

Trey’s goal is to complete his associate’s degree in science at Johnston Community College, then obtain his bachelor’s degree at North Carolina State University. — Rhonda Norris

Dylan Pitts

Hometown: Kenly

School: North Johnston High School

Dylan Pitts is a member of National Honor Society and FFA. He plays for the varsity soccer, basketball and baseball teams. He has earned the Panther Award and was selected on the all-state baseball team. He was selected as the Eastern Plains 2A Conference Baseball Player of the Year last year. He will be attending UNCW in the fall and majoring in physical therapy. Mom and Dad are so proud of the young man you are and all your accomplishments. Keep working hard and remember to always put God first! We love you buddy! — Michelle Pitts

Karoline Price

Hometown: Smithfield

School: Cleveland High School

Karoline was a cheerleader the last four years and recently represented Cleveland at the cheerleader of the year competition in February. She was the president of JoCo teen driver’s club and spent much of her time working with and volunteering with the life skills classes. She has earned a spot on the cheer team at Barton College, where she will be a part of their inaugural football program. She has earned academic and athletic scholarships from Barton and plans to study elementary education. — Allison Price

Sarah Puckett

Hometown: Clayton

School: Cleveland High School

I’ve been on the varsity swim team and I’ve earned the Academic All- Conference award for swimming all four years of high school. l was the Most Improved Women’s Swimmer my sophomore year, and I qualified for regionals for the last three years. I’ve been in the marching band all four years of high school, and I was chosen to be section leader the last two years. I’ve been in the National Honor Society both my junior and senior years, and I plan to study nursing at App State.

Blake Raynor

Hometown: Princeton

School: Princeton High School

Blake is a senior at Princeton High School and is an extremely bright entrepreneur who will be continuing his football career at Barton College in the fall. Blake started East Carolina Detailing when he was 16 and has grown it to a fully mobile business from Raleigh to the coast. He also received the WRAL Tom Suiter Extra Effort award this past fall. His biggest honor was traveling to Nicaragua with the senior football players to serve In Los Brasília. We love you and are beyond proud. — Heather Howell

Rebecca Reiner

Rebecca loves baseball and basketball. She is an amazing young spirit and can’t wait to spread her wings. — Bill Reiner

Christopher Richards

School: Clayton High School

Christopher, aka “Bub,” is our youngest child out of two kids and he’s graduating high school this year and then joining the United States Marine Corps. We’re so proud of him each and every day. It saddens me that a lot of fun senior activities have been stripped from these children. This is supposed to be a huge milestone in their lives and it’s been filled with nothing but uncertainties. These kids are our future and they need a huge prayer and shout out from each and every one of us. — Jesalyn Richards

Kayla Roberts

Cassandra Rosero

Hometown: Clayton

School: Clayton High School

Cassie has been at Clayton High School for her senior year only. Before that she was a cheerleader in the Northern Burlington School District in Columbus, N.J. She participated in the spring musicals from seventh to 11th grade there. She took her senior year in Clayton in stride. She made new friends and plans for her future. Those plans include enlisting in the Air Force. She will achieve everything she has set her mind to achieve and we are so very proud of her. — Darlene Rosero

Caitlyn Rudisill

School: Cleveland High School

Caitlyn is a member of the Cleveland High School Performing Arts Ensemble as well as the Cleveland winter guard program. She will graduate with honors and plans to attend Campbell University, majoring in pre-veterinary studies prior to transferring to N.C. State’s vet school. We could not be more proud of Caitlyn, and we would like to thank all of her teachers for helping to guide her into the compassionate, goal-driven young lady that she is today!
