Chapter Members, Allies, and Friends of the Association,
Welcome to the 2024 Annual Golf Outing of the Greater Baltimore Club Management Association at the esteemed Maryland Golf and Country Clubs. Join me in thanking the membership at Maryland Golf and Country Clubs, Boris Gradina, GM, and his amazing staff for playing host to this year ’ s event.
For the past twenty-four years, The Greater Baltimore Club Managers Association has asked our members, allies, and friends to join us in this initiative to raise funds benefitting the Baltimore Club Foundation. As the fund-raising arm of the association, the Baltimore Club Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to support local charitable organizations and to financially support educational programs for members and students interested in the club and/or hospitality field. With your assistance today, the total net proceeds since inception are anticipated to surpass the one-half million dollar mark! Thank you for your prior, current, and future industry support.
This year is also a monumental year for the Greater Baltimore Club Managers Association as we are in the final phases of consolidating our resources with our fellow National Capital Chapter Club Management Association resulting in a larger, stronger, and more impactful merged chapter. This exciting new endeavor will combine both smaller chapters into a new more resourceful larger chapter, named Middle Atlantic Club Management Association. We remain steadfast in our joint mission to promote relationships between club management professionals and other similar professions; to encourage the education and advancement of members; and to provide the resources needed for efficient and successful club operations.
In summary, we wish you a most enjoyable day surrounded by pristine golf conditions, delicious food, plentiful cold beverages, and, most of all, the opportunity to create magical memories for years to come.
Sincerely,
Richard Marr, PGA President, Greater Baltimore

The Baltimore Club Foundation is pleased to donate a portion of this year ’ s proceeds to First Tee Greater Baltimore and The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region.
First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, First Tee creates active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry with them to everything they do.
Since 1953, The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region has helped people with differing abilities build better lives one person at a time. Supporting individuals and their families over, “The Arc of a Lifetime,” by empowering people with differing abilities to live, work and thrive in the community. Our host Maryland Golf and Country Clubs is one of the employer partners of The Arc, employing some of their clients in areas such as housekeeping and dining services.
