Abstract

Integration of BIM with other technologies: Sanya Landscape Project here is a need for an integration of BIM with other technologies. If we T look at BIM, a huge part of the values of BIM lies in how information is being input and output. In the holistic view of how information is being process, BIM technologies should be viewed as one of the many ways information are being processed in the bigger information ecosystem. We believe in the view of this technologies, designer not only needs to know the each tools but also have ability to integrate, decode and reinnovate design technologies. Hence from this prospective, in our Sanya project, we look into using 3D scanning and 3D printing together with virtual reality and BIM technologies within one continuous workflow. Based on the concept for an integration of technologies to create an interactive based design experience for the client, we immerse ourselves into the testing, researching and innovating new and updated workflows in each technologies.
