Dear Corporate Donor/Sponsor,
According to data statistics compiled by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Cerebral Palsy (CP) is the most common motor disability prevalent among children under 8 years of age. It is a debilitating neurological disorder that aects the brain causing the body to loose control of body and muscle coordination. The condition is non progressive and often occurs due to damage to the brain while the child is under development.
There is no cure for CP as it results in permanent damage to the brain and in addition to movement disability, CP can also result in other complications such as seizures, vision, intellectual or hearing impairment or even autism. Each child has some degree of other diagnosed disability in addition to CP, depending on the severity of the condition. It is a lifelong condition.
In order to serve CP children for as long as we are able to, Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS) was setup in 1957. It is a registered charity and a member of the Community Chest and we are committed to being that social support caregiver to the children and adults of CPAS School and Alumni. But, we cannot fight the good fight alone and this is where we need your corporate support.
With your generous donation to this worthy cause, you can ensure that the children are cared for and will continue to have that support even when they are adults. Forbes has
