Moderated usability testing sessions on the entry of passwords on mobile devices for the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Assisted in the development of additional measures for the NIST testing sessions. Moderated in-person usability testing sessions with participants and performed heuristic evaluations on several surveys for the Joint Advertising Market Research & Studies. Conducted remote usability testing sessions on a survey for the Internal Revenue Service. Wrote technical reports for the usability sessions.
Participant recruitment and lab development
Developed an Access database to serve as the participant contact and recruitment management system for the UX team. Recruited and scheduled participants. Attempting to standardize usability testing forms and procedures for more valid and comparable measures of usability evaluation.

Ran experimental data collection sessions using a high fidelity driving simulator. The study, funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, investigated possible negative transfer of auditory forward collision warnings.
System Architect, FAA Design Competition (Student Project), January 2012–April 2012 Prototyping and system design
Developed a design proposal aimed at preventing runway incursions. Facilitated subject matter expert interviews with air traffic controllers. Designed an interactive prototype of the application using Axure RP. Conducted usability testing of the prototype with pilots. Wrote report for submission to the competition.
