FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH
A little background about us — Faith Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Bible-based ministry serving Decatur, Alabama, since 1959; we are located on the Beltline across from Staples. You’ll find exceptional opportunities here to make friends, honor God, and equip yourself to confidently respond to life’s challenges.
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” ~ Romans 3:24
What we do
Who we are We are self-governing, and free from any affiliation with conventions or associations. We cooperate with like-minded believers as much as we can, but we do so freely, without associational expectations. We are passionate about the message of salvation from sin through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Gospel is the only hope, both for non-Christians and Christians alike. We unite around the Gospel, not political positions or secondary issues. Our singing, preaching, and praying are saturated with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We’re not hiding from the world, as though we were a monastery. Rather, we want to be “the light of the world . . . a city set on a hill (Matthew 5:14). We believe in proclaiming the forgiveness of sins and eternal life only through faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Through preaching and personal evangelism, we long to reach our ethnically diverse community, which means that our make-up will also reflect our ethnically diverse community. We are aggressive in our endeavors to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world. We send missionaries, and we support missionaries, giving generously to both missionary personnel and projects; we generally support fewer missionaries so that we can give them greater financial support. And we pray for missions, regularly and fervently.
BRAND PROPOSAL
About Jonwmedia. This organization firmly believes that media is a vital tool for a ministry to be effective in today’s culture. In a society that has been built on visuals, a ministry with poor media or bad design is likely to leave a bad taste in the mouths of those in the community around it. Our agency is not just about creating high quality media, rather providing the ministries it serves a level of professionalism and attention to detail that would please Christ. “My ultimate goal at Jonathan Williquette Media is to encourage millions of Christians to be faithful and effective servants of Christ wherever God has them. Since 2012, I’ve been creating design and film that challenges others to get involved in missions in their communities and across the globe.” Strategically, the best way for Jonathan Williquette Media to aid in the furtherance of the gospel is to serve missionaries and churches by providing relevant and effective means of promotion.
He is extremely faithful and trustworthy. One of those people that is a pleasure to work with. I really look forward to years more with Jon. — JAMES WRIGHT TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, SIGHT & SOUND THEATERS

FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH
Changing the look, not the convictions. Faith Baptist Church remains steadfast in the faith and continues to hold to the its grounded beliefs. The world around us is fast-changing, and is looking for a visually-based atmosphere and approach. So, in an effort to reach our “target audience with the gospel of Jesus Christ, FBC desires to transition to a more modern and effective look. This not only draws
Faith Baptist Brand Idea.
— “
What is “media” in churches? It’s the same thing you’ll see everyday. Print, Video, Pictures, Multimedia (DVD’s, etc.) and Websites. Different media augments and supports various communication forms that churches use everyday. To not use media is like only preaching every third word in a sermon – too much good information is missing.Media is never the message. It is an undeniable need for churches to utilize the appropriate media for their target demographic in support of the overall message of the Cross. So, the answer to the question “What can the church do to reach the lost?” is that it should start with the gospel and Christ-like behavior for our friends/ peers. However, in addition to using the message of the gospel, churches must learn to communicate to the lost in a language they understand. In fact, this is a Biblical principle; Jesus used the main communication of his day - the spoken word - and the most appropriate message-retentive format of his day - parables - to get His message across. Today, there is no doubt that media is the universal language of the world that transcends all dialects and all cultures. We can use these tools without losing the message! Passion for the work being produced leads to quality. Those are key. It is that passion and quality that attracts people. They want to be a part of something exciting. What is more exciting than knowing what Christ has done for you? If that passion and quality rather than apathy and mediocrity are present, the Holy Spirit will move within us to reach others through media.” - Jonathan Williquette, Founder/CEO
