in Hungarian translation. In the same year, a high-schoolstudent receives the “Scouting for Boys” as a gift. Later, together with his fellows he establishes one of the first scout groups in Hungary. 1910 The leaders of the Hungarian YMCA found the first scout group, the “BKIE” Troop 1.

1912 The Hungarian Scout Association is founded on the 28th of December. 1913 “Raft tour on the river Vág”, lasting 17 days, in volving 105 participants and 6 immense rafts. 1914 The outbreak of WW I. A hard time for scouting. 1919 The communist take over the power and ban scouting. The Association revive after the revolution.
