W
hat made you decide to pursue a career in acting?
As a kid, I got completely absorbed in my imaginative play and loved that full immersion of living into the characters I created. As I’ve grown, in addition to actually participating in plays every year at school, I discovered a magic in acting that really culminated when I was struggling with my personal life. It’s been through the merging of my imagination, my personal growth and acting that I’ve felt the perfection of this career for me.
Where do you ultimately see yourself in five years time? Ultimately, I see myself as one of the biggest new breakout movie actors in high demand. What really lives in me is the image I received a short time after my dad passed away: it was me standing on stage receiving an Oscar. This is something that I never would have dared to dream, even in my wildest imaginations. But pursuing this image, and reliving the feeling it evokes in me, has been my ‘North Star’ and keeps me connected to my dad. It’s been my work for these past few years to trust that image and not let any clouds diminish the truth of that ‘North Star.’
Can you describe your journey in three words? The Hero’s Journey.
What is a key lesson you always try to teach?

My business, Loft Luxury LLC, has really been my foundation, allowing me to pursue acting. We have a team of us who do what needs to be done each day. Where is the Men of West Hollywood going and what can fans expect? Honestly, I’m not at liberty to speak about what’s going on between seasons, but I will say I’mexcited about what’s unfolding.
How has the Men of West Hollywood shaped your future acting career? It has allowed me to meet more people in the entertainment industry, get used to being in front of the camera, keep things playful and not take myself too seriously when I first started, and get myname out there. The bottom line is I’m grateful for all the connections.
Who is your favorite movie character of all time? If you could play a certain character, who would it be? Jack Sparrow is my favorite movie character of all time, probably because it was one of the first movies I ever saw and was my first glimpse into someone fully embodying a character as Johnny Depp did. In terms of playing a certain character, I envision playing Mick Jagger when they do his biopic.

You were involved in New York Fashion Week. Who do you look up to for fashion inspiration?
“I envision playing Mick Jager when they do his biopic.”
I look up to Timothee Chalamet and Kanye West for fashion inspiration. They have a way to express themselves through their style in a very real way. It’s unique but you can tell it’s who they are.
How would you describe your fashion style? My fashion style is hard to describe because I just buy and wear clothes that I like. I love to look classy and I also enjoy being comfortable.

Born into a stable family in Paraguay and the eldest of 5 children, Ariane grew up in the city of Asunción under the upbringing of her mother (Stylist), her father (Lawyer) and her beloved maternal grandmother, who has been an important figure in her life. Recalling her childhood, the Paraguayan Miss remembers having been a very happy girl, with a very calm, studious and athletic personality, and with a special fondness for volleyball. “I have always been a very dreamy girl since I was little,” she says, confessing that her love of beauty pageants dates back to that time, since it was something that she yearned for very much, just like becoming a professional model.
h
ow did you get into the world of beauty pageants?
When you are a girl you dream of many things that you would like to become when you grow up; and being a Beauty Queen was without a doubt one of those dreams. I started modeling when I was 15 years old, but I had to give it a short break because it was important to my parents that I continue with my studies. Then I took it up again when I was 18 years old, and it is at that moment that I had the first opportunity to enter the world of the beauty pageants.
passionate about and believed in me from the first moment.
Give us a brief walk through that count of contests you've been through... In 2019 I was in a contest called "Reina del Verano Paraguay" where I had the opportunity to win the main crown; and already in 2020 I was a candidate for Miss International Paraguay. There, I won the grand slam crown, which allowed me to compete in Japan in December that year. Likewise, I had the blessing of being designated this year as Miss Europe Continental World 2022, where I managed to be in the top 10 among 45 candidates from different countries of the world, which was held in Italy.
“I have the
Then your parents asked you to prioritize your studies so that you could later dedicate yourself to modeling... Correct. But I also wanted to prepare myself because I consider that it is important to have knowledge about not one but several professions, and that is why I decided to learn from 3 very different careers but they have given me a lot as a woman and as a professional. This is how I trained in Business Administration, Medical Visitor and Operating Room Assistant.

of my whole family and the people I love since I started.”
Has your family supported your passage through this medium since your beginnings? They are the first to be there for me always. I have the absolute support of my whole family and of the people I love since I started, because they were aware that it was something that I was very

I understand that parallel to this you are developing a career as a businesswoman with both a brand of swimwear and a brand of cosmetics. How did this idea come about?
I always said there was a small entrepreneur within Ariane, who was willing to go very far from the hand of God. I had already had the idea of creating a swimwear brand for a few years, but for some reason I couldn't develop it at the time and this year I'm totally focused on making it happen. And with respect to Arianne Cosmetics, one of the aspects that I like the most and that I say with great pride, is that it has a clear sustainable objective because each product will be crueltyfree.

What is your role within the brand? I am the Creative Director of the brand, for which I put my ideas and decisions about the design and creation process of each piece; And I also have a team behind me that are very professional in everything they do, so they guide me and I trust their talent to create and shape everything I have in my mind.
What is the name of the brand? It is really a mixture of two words that are key for me. “Miss” because of course it is what I have been dedicating myself to in recent years; and “Pretty” because it was what my grandmother called me, so together, they are two words that I identify with a lot today. So all the girls who want to explore the designs and what we are creating can go to the Miss Bonita Swimwear Instagram account and purchase the pieces online or see them in person at selected stores in Ibiza starting in June.
What projects do you have in both short and medium term, personally and professionally speaking? Well, the closest thing is to work on my two brands to achieve the success of both; and for later, I would like to become the Director of a beauty pageant in Paraguay and thus discover all those talented girls that my country has.
What advice do you give to girls from your countrywho are starting in thisworld of beauty pageants, based on your own experience? In life you have to know how to win and how to lose, and the same happens in beauty pageants. Therefore, they should not get frustrated if they do not get an important crown or band, but quite the opposite: continue learning, make an effort and put a lot of discipline to achieve new goals. When you enter a beauty pageant, you should know there will be a before and after as a woman for everything you learn and face there. These are lessons that will serve you for many aspects of your life.

JEAN NOUVEL Presidential Suite
The genesis of the Hotel Puerta América stems from the desire to create a unique hotel in the world, combining different ways of looking at architecture, design and art. The surface, over 34 thousand square meters, accommodates people of different nationalities and cultures. They have all embarked on an ambitious idea whose motto has been to become a meeting point with creative freedom as its flag. All floors have the same distribution: a central lobby and two corridors that organize the rooms, on both sides of the hall. The purpose of the project is to offer a space where each of the architects could reflect the best of themselves, of their work and in many cases of their culture and their way of understanding the world, through architecture and design, but also photography or literature. Everything, to make a unique work a reality.

They all play with different materials, colors and shapes, to create spaces that bring together the best of avantgarde design and architecture, where creativity and freedom in the development of each of the spaces have marked the work.
During the summers of 2017 and 2018, Puerta América embarked on a series of improvement works in order to update its spaces, adapt to the needs of its customers and offer unique experiences, always respecting its unique design and architecture as a hotel. The hotel has two entrances. The main one is an elevated orange road that allows vehicle access to the door itself. It is located at semi-basement level and faces Avenida de América, but the elevation allows the guest to reach the same entrance, where the reception and common spaces are located: the Lobby & Bistro, the Marmo Bar and Karrara Terrasse. The structure of the hotel has a characteristic dihedral laminar shape (150º) with 14 floors, adjoining two cylindrical bodies on the ground floor: front (covered access patios) and back (the rooms surrounded by a perimeter gallery)”, explain members of SGA Study, company responsible for the structure, distribution and shape of the Hotel Puerta América. The façade of the building has been designed by Jean Nouvel, also the author of the 12th floor. The French architect captures in the spectacular building the concept of freedom, the basis of the project, in a very special way: through the exhibition of the poem Libertad, by Paul Éluard, in different languages and in large letters printed on 52

Some really unique spaces to highlight are: Karrara Terrasse. Urban oasis of Italian design where wood predominates surrounded by nature. T
ell us a bit about yourself. Did you come from an artistic family?
My father loved to paint as a hobby. Most weekends he was in his studio painting with oils and he would invite me to do a couple of strokes on his canvas too. He was also deeply interested in photography. We had this little old projector and he would often use the wall as a screen to view family photos. I think that all helped me to develop a passion for photography and art. As well as capturing pictures with a camera, I followed my father with the brush and also paint with oils and acrylics for a select clientele.

What is your dream location to shoot at? An editorial fashion shoot in the Vatican City, Rome. I know it may sound weird but whenever I think of that it makes me very excited. Or the castle of the previous Shah of Iran which is now a museum.
Do you prefer photoshoots?

When did your journey as a photographer really begin? I moved to the United States about 7 years ago. I originally worked in the import and export business before coming here, but had always wanted to do something new and exciting. So America gave me the opportunity to start afresh, although I didn’t know where to begin. I was not happy at the time and was endlessly searching for inspiration.

One day I was spending time with a very good friend and I suggested we photograph her in the bathroom because I noticed the natural light from outside was just flooding in and hitting the wall in a spectacular fashion. After we were done, she and her husband told me that I was so good at it that maybe I should think of making it a professional career. The next day I called a local studio to take their classes and once there, I knew I wanted to become a great fashion photographer. Since then, I have been developing my skills and doing fashion editorials.

I prefer them equally. Based on the brief, I will choose to shoot indoor or outdoor. I started with natural light photography and love to play with it and create different textures. Outside you can really test that interplay between shadow and light, generating different moods and styles. But I also enjoy shooting inside as well. It all depends on the story you want to tell and the feelings you want to transfer to your audience.
Who would ultimate stars

J.Lo would be a dream come true. Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron plus Anthony Hopkins and Robert De Niro. That would be my Top 5 bucket list.
Who would be the master photographer that inspired you the most?
Let me choose two: Helmet Newton for his vision and dramatic/dreamy/ conceptual work and Mario Testino. His work in particular has inspired me a lot. His work is full of energy, happiness, colors and exaggeration. It is very close to how I feel I want my own work to be seen.
How are you coping with working in such a competitive industry? This journey has a lot of ups and downs. It is not easy to stay self-motivated all the time and it can be an emotional roller coaster. Being in L.A. and close to Hollywood with all the celebrities on

your doorstep, it is not easy to stay happy when you realize you still have a long ladder to climb. Some days I am really happy because I am more productive and have great ideas which I try to give myself credit for. It’s been a lot of hard work over that past couple of years but I have been blessed to get to know so many amazing talented people in the industry. People really are willing to help and lift each other up and are generous enough to give opportunities to people like me. They say a happy life depends upon the quality of your thoughts. I am most happy when I am doing my best and pursuing every avenue to succeed, so that when I am 80, I will not regret a thing. I will have done everything that I should have done and
that means I will have lived a full and rewarding life.
What motivates you to capture that perfect shot? Money first of all lol!!! No, really it could be someone's look, a location, an image on the internet, a thought, a concept, a movie, a painting; Anything. Life is full of beautiful moments and something as simple as a feeling can be a great motivation for me to effortlessly pick up the camera and shoot all day long.

N .Y .F .M .C . AN
exhibition OF
wearable ART
The ultimate mecca for burgeoning and established designers, this year's staging of New York Fashion Week was made even more memorable with the inclusion of the NYFMC fashion show. In what can only be summed up as a multicultural exhibition of wearable art, NYFMC showcased the designs of a cadre of 13 of the most eclectic design visionaries in the industry. The quaint fashion show was executed quintessentially in New York style in an intimate red bricked adorned enclave worthy of the artists utilizing the space. London's entertainment maven Deshai Williams hosted the event. She brought her signature high-energy skillet to keep the show engaging and consistent with the Vimeo app's attendees and viewers on Amazon Fire TV. NFYMC started with a head-bobbing exhilarating performance by Hito Star. Star delighted patrons not only with her upbeat vibe and exceptional stage presence but also donned a glittering ensemble that perfectly suited the occasion. The fashion show formally went underway with the vibrant hues of designer Creative Drip. Her collection heavily focused on bright colors married with unique fabric pairings to create an eye-catching display. Creative Drip gave the urban street style a new flair with brightly colored puffer jackets, painted stained denims, and subtly sexy outfits with sheer cutouts.

The Detroit-based designer took everyone down a fashionable memory lane tour with her Motown vintage-inspired designs. The flurry of fashion continued with dazzling pieces from In My Genes.
