MINEOLA - WOOD COUNTY MANHUNT CONTINUES
(MINEOLA) According to A Mineola Police Departmrent Press Release made available on social media,Monday May 25, 2020 at approximately 9:25pm, Mineola dispatch received a 911 call of a male and female leaving an apartment complex in the 1800 block of North Pacific Street. The caller ad-
vised that both subjects appeared to be intoxicated. The male and female then entered into a Lincoln Town car and exited the parking lot, south bound on North Pacific Street. Officers located the vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated in the 1200 block of North Johnson Street. The operator of
the vehicle exited the driver’s side door and immediately ran south, across Greenville Hwy and south on Johnson Street. Officers advised they would be in a foot pursuit. During the pursuit the actor discharged a weapon. A perimeter was set up and mutual aid was requested. Texas Department of Public Safety’s air unit was deployed along with the assistance of the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Hawkins Police Department and the Wood County Constable's Office Pct.2. A track of the suspect was completed by K9 Juma. A warrant has been issued out of this department for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Against a Public Servant. The suspect is a Tony Saucedo Ybarra W/M, 27 years of age. Subject is also wanted for a violation of parole aggravated robbery war-
rant, and for resisting arrest out of Wood County. The subject has ties to the Quitman, Lake Fork and Mineola area. The Investigation is ongoing at this time. This suspect is also consid-
