Grand Saline Electrical Outage Due To Fire
Sweepco Sub station located at West Frank and Oleander in Grand Saline
(UNDATED) September 2, Wednesday Afternoon sometime after 4:00 PM Grand Saline Had intermittent power outages. The outages caused disruption of service to many homes and businesses in Grand Saline. Businesses affected included, Family Dollar, Brookshires, CNB and many others. According to a AEP Sweepco spokesdperson the outage was caused by a wire that
had caught fire. The spokesperson could not confirm, nor deny that the fire had anything to do with construction work that is continuing on West Frank. The power had been off and on between four and nine PM. Ther were no reports of injuries pertaining to Wednesday afternoon’s electrical fire.

• August 22, Patrice Serena, Otis of Emory was arrested on a charge of driving W/Lic Inv with previous violation. • August 26 Sarah Michelle Ragsdale was arrested on a charge possesion of a controlled substance in excess of 1 gram , she was also held on charges of tampering or attempting to fabricate physical evedence Ragsdales, bonds totaled fifteen thousand dollars. There were a total of two arrests for the week. Both posted bonds and were released. There are three femailes and two males in custody During campaign season, the landscape blooms with a special kind of flower - the political sign. This includes posting signs on trees, telephone poles, traffic signs and other objects on the right of way. Campaign signs along Texas roads can be placed on private property with the owner's per mission. Before placing a sign inside of incorporated city limits, check with the city for applicable ordinances.
