Slatkii editor’s letter A pastel coloured sky, a ray of sunshine on my face, the smell of the kitchen, the softness of a blanket when it’s cold, reading with my feet in the fire and boiling cheeks, wearing four layers of jumpers and legs naked, forget, hold a child’s hand, getting dressed, laughing and smiling, dancing and forgetting about the rest, borrowing clothes that smell like love... Innocence and sweetness Slatkii
Billet d’humeur
What if all we needed could be found in simplicity ? In what makes us smile every day and that we forget to capture, show or even sometimes remember. In what warms us as a whole as if we were going from ice to flame, from an extreme to another. For the first issue of Slatkii, sweet in russian, the aim was to bring this feeling of cozyness and home into one magazine. What is sweet ? How could it be portrayed through a visual support ?

24h Etosoto - One of the best places to stay at in
Formentera. Etosoto has this hippy vibe that is very much proper to the smallest of the balearic islands, it is an eco-hotel and an organic farm project. It was the work of two parisian brothers over ten years and it is now home to many yoga retreats and promotes a slow-living. The food is organic and most of it comes from the hotel’s garden. The sea is in front and the nature is surrounding. All you need to relax and step back from everyday life.
Juan y Andrea - Lunch at this restaurant have to
be booked much in advance but the view and the food are worth it all. It all started with a fisherman in 1971. It is located on the prettiest beach of the island. It always implies good mood, friends, and fresh food.
To get around - a scooter is all you’ll need for your excursions around the island
El Pilar de la mola - The hippie market of the island.
Just after la siesta and before the aperitivo, a stop by the hippie market is a must and not that much for the shooping but more for the experience. In the center of the market there is a band playing, the alleys are covered in tiles, some artist don’t stop for the market or the turists and work outside.
El Piratabus - A little cabin standing on top of a rock
with the most beautiful view of the sunset. Grab a beer and seat on the rocks. This place is enchanting and so simple that we forget the time and suddently the sun is gone and everyone is leaving.
Dinner on the beach - Find yourself a spot either on
la platja de illetes or on la platja migjorn, bring wine, aperitivo, music and friends. The beach is yours.

24h Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat - A hotal that can
look excentric and pretentious at first but then reveals itself to be extremelly peaceful, calming any troubled mind. The beauty of the place helps a lot and is breathtaking. A walk around the garden should not be avoided.
Sentier de la cote - One of the most beautiful
coastal path in the south of France is in Saint de Cap Ferrat. It offers an escape and place to meditate.
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild - A villa worth every detour. The villa seems stuck in time. It is surrounded by nine different gardens each on a different theme.
Paloma beach restaurant - This restaurant
managed to score the most beautiful and almost “secret location in Saint Jean de Cap-Ferrat. The beach is discreet, small, beautiful. Eating the feet in the sea is always a delight especially when the food is as good.
