A word from Jason Jaeger ... It has been refreshing to see some good news of late surrounding interest rates. If the talk is true, we may see rates stay the same, or even drop a few points, over the coming months. This will certainly be a boost for both sellers and borrowers. Any positive news gives confidence and helps bring consistency back to the real estate market. A lot of attention is put on interest rates and, in my opinion, it is over-the-top when you think back to the times of rates of nearly 20% in the 80's. I don't profess to being a finance expert, however if you have a deposit and find a property that is both value for money and where you want to live, I don't see a better time to buy than right now.
