ANTI-BULLYING PLEDGE ANDERSEN MIDDLE SCHOOL
Submitted by Dr. Tyais Dial, Andersen Middle School Principal Andersen Middle School Dragons celebrated “Bullying Prevention Month” the week of October 18th in a variety of ways. Our counselor (Ms. Jao) and MFLC (Ms. Camacho) teamed up during first and second lunch (all week) to hand our materials and information to promote bullying awareness and to educate students on they can create a culture in which more people are supportive and accepting of others. Additionally, AMS students and staff wore ORANGE on October 20th, Unity Day, as well as took the Anti-Bullying Pledge as a school, to send a clear and visible message to show kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. AMS wants all to know that no child should ever experience bullying in or out of school. Go DRAGONS!
