Offerings for the Void is a short collection of comics about life. Each spread represents an abstract attempt to convey some of the life lessons I’ve learned throughout college. On the precipice of graduation, it’s important to reflect on and try to give a shape to the college experience. It is such a multi-faceted time in personal development. This short comic encapsulates everything from the onset of the mental plagues that will last a lifetime to the moments of deep nostalgia for a time only recently past. By reflecting on these stories and conveying them in abstraction, I am able to get closure on things that have happened to me without making a pointlessly overly-personal and unrelatable work of art.
