Troublesome Treacle Do you have any strange habits? Hello All My Feathered and Furry Fans,
my tongue out to say yes. Impressive eh!
Do you have any strange habits? Mistress says that I have many so I will share them with you guys and gals and see, if indeed my behaviour is a little odd sometimes! Before I reveal all though, I will add that both Mistress and Little Mistress do some rather particular things too. I will explain later…
Number 3. When we walk in the field and Mistress throws the ball, I run for it, catch it and then whereas I used to bring it back to her I just lay down and wait for her to come to me to throw it again. The only way that I will bring the ball to her is if she sits down on a park bench or grass. Perhaps I need to speak to Dean Hart (page 2) our Pet Behaviourist as I have noticed that making Mistress sit down before I respond to commands appears twice in my column so far! Enough about me. Let me talk about some of Mistress’s habits. If you don’t see my column in the issue following this, you will know she has fired me and my Doggy journalist career over.
Number 1. Whereas I used to eat my bowl of food straight away when served, now I wait to be told to eat and I don’t straight away. I start whining until I am told yet again to eat my dinner. And It is not until Mistress sits down to watch me dig in- that I do! Personally I call this good etiquette. Number 2. Another recent new habit which Mistress says I’m very clever is that whenever I’m asked if I want something to eat, I stick

Here we go. Number 1. After a long day in the office and when Mistress settles down on the settee after eating her
dinner, she undoes her TROUSERS! No I am not kidding. Also and this will get me into trouble but to make herself even more comfortable she sometimes even undoes the funny apparel she keeps her boobs in!! Number 2. The most worrying habit of all is her talking to herself. ‘’ Oh no, I’ve run out of toilet paper’’ – ‘’Think I better get myself up to bed now’’-‘’I know there is something I have forgotten to do’’ – and so it goes on.
Number 3. There’s this man called ‘Siri’ she often talks to and asked him thing like, ‘’Will I win the lottery?’’ and ‘’Are you good looking?’’ Well, that’s it. I’ve rabbited on for so long I have reached the end of this month’s column! See you in March and hope you all get lots of Valentines cards.
