/ did the queen ever visit here?

One can hardly recall all the details we build, but they will forever remember the stories created by themselves. By bringing three cabinets of curiosities into the amusement park, it aims to create more adventures to be explored and memories to be collected, which is “the chance encounter of a sewing m a c h i n e a n d a n u m b re l l a o n a d i s s e c t i n g t a b l e a s d e s c r i b e d by Fre n c h p o e t Co mt e d e L a u t re a m o nt .

housing prototype no. 12

The Prototype No. 12 House builds a conversation between the conventional idea of roof light well and the central courtyard. It creates a new experience to stand on top of the inter-cross thresholds, to embrace the atmosphere set up by delicate light design and to experience different levels of lightness conducted by various architectural elements.

The renovation at Meat Market Melbourne is influenced by the innovative performance, the Drone Opera. The show largely controls its audience sensation by using the physical cage, atmosphere and the buzz-ling sounds of drones. The willingness of centralization compresses services into one spot. It creates serious challenge associated with the overall urban planning and traffic organization. The primary and wishful motivation of the project is to use gentle gesture to communicate with politic ambition.

SPRAY, POURING AND INJECTION

b. SPRAY - only salt or sugar solution can spray; - salt or sugar solution requires heating; - spray surface is fragile; - touching on surface before fully dry will cause damage on surface.

7

c. INJECTION - pure plaster is not suitable for injection; - wet sand can considerably block liquid.

1.pour thick plaster liquid with less water; 2.pour thin plaster liquid with more water; 3.place dry on and pour thin plaster liquid; 4.inject thin plaster 10% within 90% sand; 5.spray 30% salt solution and bake; 6. pour 30% salt solution and bake; 7.spray 30% salt solution and bake;

32% SALT SOLUTION SPRAY

- each layer should be deeply and fully sprayed; - only salt or sugar solution can spray; - salt or sugar solution requires heating; - spray surface is fragile; - touching on surface before fully dry will cause damage on surface. - each layer require half hour heating in oven.

CONFIGURATION

multi-layer salt solution spray

ADVANTAGES: - capable to combine more sand; - has more natural finish; - environmental-friendly. SHORTAGES: - takes longer time to spray; - requires extra heating such as heating by oven; heating by hair dryer or heating gun will not help; - extremely fragile during process.

0D.

0D.

PLASTER AND SAND MIXTURE POURING

- pouring plaster can solidify sand without heating in one day; - thinner plaster is easier to pour and to combine more sand; - mixing plaster gets harder to flow quickly; - plaster with over thickness will change the form of sand surface; - has good control of the thickness can help plaster flow easily on top of the sand dune but do not disturb the sand surface. - long and narrow plaster surface is fragile. - the majority of sand will sink within the mixture and it is hard to flow with the plaster during pouring process.

CONFIGURATION

multi-layer plaster liquid pouring

ADVANTAGES: - do not need extra waiting time between finishing each layer; - has strong finish; - considerably efficient and convenient; - easy to proceed. SHORTAGES: - require precise control on proceeding time and proportion; - most of sand stay in the container during pouring process therefore less sand is actually function within the mixture. - more sand on the surface of the finish rather than the middle.
