Diary of a Madman - Ozzy Osbourne • This is a really great album, specially the songs Over the Mountains and Bark at the moon. • Although the voice of Ozzy isn´t the best, he has got great lyrics, and excepcional base music. This is a beatiful work of his guitarrist, This is the last album with Randy Rhoads before his death in 1982 • The RIAA certified Diary of a Madman Gold (500,000 units sold) on January 04 1982, Platinum (1 million units sold) on May 10 1982, Multi-platinum (2 million units, known unofficially as Double Platinum) on August 11 1992 and MP (3 million units, known unofficially as Triple Platinum) on October 26 • The song Over the Mountains has a classic 70’s heavy metal base. In this song he says about the things that he feels with the music. • “Don't need no astrology it's inside of you and me You don't need a ticket to fly with me--I'm free—yeah” • Finally, my personal opinión: • It’s one of my favourite albums, Ozzy and his group, made a excepcional work. Now this group and this album are in the heavy metal’s history.
