SUNRISE BEACH WALKS

Feb. 1-March 29 / Ages: Adult / Fee: $5 / Beach / Wednesdays, 8-9:30 a.m. Participate in this self-guided beach walk along our beautiful beach. Register at the main pavilion before your one-mile minimum walk. Complete four walks and receive an event T-shirt.

SEAFOOD AND MUSIC FESTIVAL

Dec. 2-4 / All ages / In the park / Fee: Free / Friday, noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A blending of food, music and visual entertainment, affording attendees a potpourri of delectable seafood creations and delicious drinks prepared by the top restaurants in Siesta Key and Sarasota. 46TH ANNUAL SANDY CLAWS BEACH RUN

Dec. 10 / All ages / Siesta Beach / Fee: $25 youth, $35 adult if registered by Nov. 16 / Saturday, 8 a.m. The 46th Annual Sandy Claws Beach Run is back on the sand for a 5K run and a 1-mile fun run. Come wearing your best costume and enjoy refreshments after the run. Early packet pick up is on Thursday, Dec. 8, 3-6 p.m. at New Balance Sarasota, Stickney Point Road. Registered participants will receive an event T-shirt while supplies last. For more information, call 311.

SAY ‘I DO’ AGAIN

Feb. 14 / Ages: Adult / Fee: $15 per couple / Beach / Tuesday, 6 p.m. Celebrate a renewal of wedding vows at sunset on beautiful Siesta Beach. Event includes a commemorative certificate, a gift, a flower, music on the beach and light refreshments. Check-in begins at 4:30 p.m. and activities begin at 5 p.m. The nondenominational service begins promptly at 6 p.m. Register by Friday, Feb. 10 or fee increases to $25 for day of registration.
